Pictogramas - Pictograms

Pictogramas es una obra de teatro que ensaya diversas estrategias dramáticas para entender mejor el mundo que rodea a los niños con características especiales como puede ser el autismo. Esta obra fue la ganadora del 17º Premio Nacional de Teatro de la Asociación de Teatro para la Infancia y la Juventud y corresponde al dramaturgo Tomás Afán Muñoz. Con esta obra se ha intentado dar respuesta a la pregunta de si el teatro podía ayudar a estos chicos con dificultades especiales, niños que a menudo no juegan, que en ocasiones realizan movimientos repetitivos o acciones chocantes, que, en definitiva, no ofrecen normalmente facilidades para relacionarse con ellos, y que , en algunos casos, apenas hablan.

Ojalá esta obra llegue pronto a los escenarios de todo el mundo para llenar un poco más la consciencia de algunos inconscientes o ignorantes.

Pictograms is a play rehearsing various dramatic strategies to better understand the world around children with special features such as autism. This work was the winner of the 17th National Theatre Award from the Association of Theatre for Children and Youth and corresponds to the playwright Tomás Muñoz Afán. This work has attempted to answer the question of whether the theater could help these kids with special difficulties, children who often do not play, they sometimes perform repetitive movements or shocking actions that ultimately not normally offer facilities to relate to them, and, in some cases, barely speak.

Hopefully this work will come soon to stage worldwide to fill a little more awareness of some unconscious or ignorant.
