Ermenegildo Zegna es una empresa familiar con una larga trayectoria a sus espaldas que no se limita está en las mejores ciudades del mundo, va mucho más allá. Es una empresa que apuesta por iniciativas filantrópicas, ya que son conocedores que del retorno que esto tiene en el bien estar de sus trabajadores, clientes y en el entorno que les rodea. Su principal diferencia es la rapidez, agilidad y flexibilidad que les permite crear grandes puentes de unión eliminado así las barreras. Invierten en educación en India y África entre otros lugares, protegen la fauna china con el World Wild Fund China entre otras muchas iniciativas filantrópicas. Ellos consideran que tal vez sus futuros socios o clientes pueden residir en zonas donde hoy en día hacen falta inversiones filantrópicas.
Es una empresa que ha crecido poco a poco. Ya que según su filosofía los cambios se producen de abajo para arriba.
Con esta filosofía ponen de manifiesto que para ser el mejor no hay que tener la mejor posición de lugar hay que tener la mejor posición de confianza. Confianza basada en unas creencias que son capaces de transmitir al cliente. Todo el mundo es capaz de seguir y tomar esta filosofía como suya (Gobiernos, empresas...) solo unos pocos quieren.
