Científicos de la Universidad tecnológica de Lodz (Polonia) han creado una ropa inteligente que regula la humedad de los bebés prematuros.
El tejido desarrollado protege al niño y es de gran ayuda en el cuidado del bebé ya que el contacto con una ropa no apropiada puede resultar peligroso.
El objetivo principal es retener la humedad del cuerpo, especialmente en las primeras horas después del nacimiento. Los primeros momentos fuera del útero requieren de una ropa fabricada con dos capas, una tela convencional y una membrana sensible que ayuda a detener la sudoración excesiva.
Por el momento están realizando pruebas con un muñeco dotado de sensores de temperatura que imitan las glándulas sudoríparas del recién nacido. Esperemos que pronto se formalice su utilización.

Scientists at the University of Technology in Lodz (Poland) have created a smart clothing moisture regulating premature babies.The fabric developed to protect the child and is a great help in caring for the baby and that contact with inappropriate clothing can be dangerous.
The main objective is to retain moisture in the body, especially in the first hours after birth. The first moments outside the womb require clothing made of two layers, a conventional fabric sensitive membrane that helps to stop excessive sweating.
For the time being tested with a dummy equipped with temperature sensors that mimic the sweat glands of the newborn. Hopefully soon formalize its use.
